Happy family

Happy Family is a sculpture project in which I try to mimic the form of life in the violent history and hostile environment. I use potatoes as recipients of my violence and put them in the “no sun, no water, no soil” situation which metaphorically indicate to my family past experience. I infuse the potato with hair, metal pins and thread which symbolizes gene, physical punishment and “good will” respectively. In this work, the material/acts/ process asks the question:
“Will trauma heal by time”?
